They focus on reuniting men and women with their families in a covenant-keeping relationship that combats the negative influence of drugs, crime, violence, gangs and poverty. Biblical principles are the foundation and building blocks of all the teaching at ABBA.

Our mission is to reach the unreached in our communities by sharing our “Rewrite Tomorrow” message through a virtual experience or in person presentation. In our interactive program you will learn about individuals with stories of overcoming various real life struggles. Our hope is to encourage others that they are not alone and they are “Worthy” to clean their slate and “Rewrite Tomorrow”. We believe that every child and young adult deserves a second chance at life. Dr. Awad is the President and Executive Director of Jesus for Muslims Network in metro New York. JFM exists to promote Muslim evangelism and the discipleship of Muslim converts to Christ. He oversees the JFM Refuge Center program, which is a safe house for converts who are suffering persecution or homelessness. Dr. Awad has three grown children and seven grandchildren. Sister Liza Awad, his wife passed away in 2017.

Helping Hand Rescue Mission

The Helping Hand Rescue Mission in Huntington Station, New York, seeks to improve the spiritual and temporal conditions of the people and communities we serve by providing excellent service to all who come, whether they be rich or poor, high or low social status. This ministry was founded in 1965 by the late Jim & Rose Marie Gaines, and Florence E. Meringola. Rose Marie Gaines went to be with the Lord in March, 2017.

In addition, Lighthouse Mission provides many creative programs for under-privileged & homeless children throughout the year.

LI Citizens for Community Values
LICCV is a ministry working to protect women, children, families and the community from the harmful effects of pornography and the sexualized culture in the digital age. This mission is accomplished through various programs presented across Long Island and the metropolitan areas, such as Digital Safety for Families, “Are you Socially Connected or Digitally Dependent”, Digital Literacy for Seniors, Youth @ Risk, Child Digital Safety and Community Protection Program. They minister in churches, youth groups, secular and Christian schools, colleges, PTA’s, and community organizations.

LI Youth for Christ
Reaching young people on Long Island since 1959. Youth for Christ has over 140 chapters across the United States and is actively involved in more than 100 nations around the world. YFC pursues young people who often feel overlooked, to build relationships at pivotal moments. YFC partners with local church and like-minded organizations to reach young people. We believe the Gospel comes to life in the overlap of God’s story, our story, and a young person’s story.

Long Island Youth Mentoring assists Christians in being obedient to God’s call to minister to the fatherless and the widow. We do this by matching mature Christian adults with fatherless children who meet for 2-4 hours each week. These mentoring relationships are God’s conduit of love, truth, and grace to families who are harassed by poverty, dependency, and the lies of the world.

New York Adult & Teen Challenge
Adult & Teen Challenge New York, founded in 1990, today consists of five residential homes for young men and ladies. These hurting souls come to us caught in the vicious cycle of drugs, alcohol and crime, hoping to find freedom. We provide residential care for men and women 17 years and older, providing all their physical, emotional, mental and spiritual needs for an entire year. We offer them hope, healing and a future through their newfound relationship with Jesus Christ. Hope lives here, Freedom is found here, Changed lives leave here!

North Carolina Boys Academy

John Steigerwald was born in Rockville Center, New York. He grew up in Smithtown, Long Island. John and his wife, Deralyn are currently living in Conover, NC establishing North Carolina Boy’s Academy, a ministry of Teen Challenge for adolescent boys. John and Deralyn have been married for 30 years and have 4 grown children: Bethany, Jamin, Elizabeth and Jared.

The Paterson Arab American Friendship Center shares the Good News of God to Muslim women and their families. They also help prepare immigrant families to enter American life and culture. Many are learning the necessary skills for adapting to our society and finding employment.

Soundview Pregnancy Services’ mission is to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ by bringing life, truth and hope in the face of confusion and fear.
