Care

Recovery and Self-Care

As a church, we believe that God has equipped us with resources for those who are experiencing difficult seasons such as grief, divorce, and overcoming addiction. Here are some resources that we provide.

Ancient Paths

The Ancient Paths is the original 16-hour Ancient Paths Experience. The teaching includes solid principles and moving examples that open the heart for ministry to receive healing from a cursed identity. The intent of the teaching is not just for information, but to expose hidden areas of woundedness that have occurred in the family of origin or through other significant relationships. Check back here soon for more information about their upcoming seminars.

Beauty for Ashes – Post Abortion Ministry

Weekly on Wednesdays from 7:30-9pm at the SGT Annex

This is a ministry for women who have experienced an abortion. It is a safe place in the Body of Christ for her to be healed completely from her post-abortion wounds. By experiencing the love and forgiveness of God, it will result in freedom for her to be able to walk in complete liberty as a daughter of the Most High and become a conduit of His love, truth, and freedom to others.
Weekly meetings will include Bible Study, times of personal ministry and prayer. Beauty for Ashes will utilize a post-abortive Bible Study curriculum/workbook in small group settings. As the nature of this ministry is extremely personal, please be assured that the upmost confidentiality and trust will be honored. Periodic ministry weekend retreats will be incorporated and announced at the weekly Bible Study groups. For more information, contact us by clicking this link.

Food Pantry

SGT’s Food Pantry is a ministry that shares the love of God by actively responding to both the physical and spiritual needs within the community. It provides food staples for individuals and families that are in need. Every individual that utilizes this ministry is greeted with God’s love and care and is ministered to with prayer. Food Pantry items are received from Long Island Cares, Shoprite Supermarket, and donations from the SGT church family.

Drop-off bins for the Food Pantry are inside the church's side door. Your continued support to help is a blessing for all.

Food Pantry Appointments: Visits to the Food Pantry are by appointment only. To make an appointment, call 631-347-6879.
